Citterio was commissioned by Antin Infrastructure Partners to design an advanced partition system for their executive offices, with the primary goal of ensuring acoustic comfort. Through the Wood Wall system, Citterio created solid oak partitions with an optimized thickness of 105mm, significantly enhancing sound absorption performance. The integration of high-quality materials such as wood and transparent glass blends seamlessly with the neutral and natural aesthetic of the spaces, improving both privacy and acoustic comfort. This project underscores Citterio’s commitment to encounter the comfort needs of contemporary work environments.

Antin Infrastructure Partners is a leading private equity firm focused on infrastructure. Antin operate in the energy and environment, digital, transport and social infrastructure sectors. Based in Paris, London, New York, Singapore and Luxembourg, Antin employs over 220 professionals dedicated to growing, improving and transforming infrastructure businesses.

In the design of its head offices, led by architect Katja Pargger, Citterio was involved with a precise objective: to provide partition systems that ensure perfect acoustic insulation, capable of maintaining privacy between different offices. Sound and noise management within a space is fundamental, especially in work environments. Over time, design and technology have had to adapt to new demands, and the solutions developed by Citterio have been designed to absorb sounds and create ideal working environments.

The Wood Wall partition system was chosen by Antin for the subdivision of its Parisian offices. The project developed by the Sirone-based company began with a traditional 88mm-thick oak wall, which was later adapted into a customized solution for the client, ultimately achieving a solid wood profile thickness of 105mm, significantly improving acoustic performance.

The wooden blind walls also contain an internal panel designed for optimal acoustic sealing. The choice of using materials such as oak and transparent glass blends in with the surrounding environment, characterised by neutral, natural tones and colours.

With the Antin project, Citterio reaffirms its commitment to addressing the issue of noise pollution in open-plan workplaces by enhancing space insulation through cutting-edge solutions and high-quality materials.
